What is happening? if i connect a line of interfaces (24) to a dense smart cable it will only display the usage of one or two channels What is expected? the display of all channels used How to reproduce? build a AE Network connect a dense cable to a controller. build a line of interfaces adjacent to the dense cable. put a dense cable in the end and extend it in the other three directions. Sounds like your running a dense cable into a line of interface blocks, interfaces can only carry 8 channels over them, the dense can carry 32. so it can only use 8 on the dense line since the interfaces are connected though one another.

the dense cable displays 1 line for every 4 channels carried ( 32 / 4 = 8 ) I couldn't fit 32 lines on it.

maybe as a workaround, and for network debugging when playing with AE2, the network monitor could tell you how many channels are going through a tile, and what the channels are for?

thats what the indicator lines are supposed to do. Until the full side is shining you can still add channel-consumers. On dense cables the last line will only highlight if all 32 channels are satisfied. Not sure if people need an ingame explanation for channels. Its described on the wiki. If you think the page needs more explanation, feel free to suggest improvements on that.
