It's mainly to create more advanced automation, for exemple growing crystal :) Being able to filter like Formation Plane should obviously have a cost, but it make automation of crystal growing cool. A easier way would be that Annihilation Plane only annihilate something IF it can be stored without buffering. Thanks for all

You can already manage things like crystal growing with a cyclic method.

I know how, I can make and I have made with hopper and redstone. Not to hard but ineligent... As 1.7 is out I want to make a really cool AE run and this will be sugar. As a plus not only filtering would be cool but redstone control and no buffer mode. Btw by cyclic do you mean Annihilation plane and Formation plane on top of each other? Isn't it laggy and energy intensive?

Not necessarily "no top of each other" but rather have a length of water that slowly pushes the materials from the formation plane, to the annihilation plane. Redstone can be controlled via toggle buses, not sure what you mean by "no buffer mode" Annihilation planes require the buffer since there is no way to tell if a block prior to breaking it will contain 1 or 90000 items.
