A simple Example. I have a "Log->Wood" Pattern and a "Wood->Chest" Pattern in my System. I'd always have 10 chests in my System. Option 1 (I Prefer. More fun on the build it.): I check the count of chests with a Level Emiter und give a signal to a "AutoStartCraftJob-block" which has a GUI to select one Pattern from all in the system. (possibly a Display for the count like "+1" "+10" "+100" ... you know what i mean). This Block starts the job with the selected Pattern (if enough Materials in the System) when a Redstone signal comes. Option 2 (simple): You have a GUI, to choose the amount of a item/block and the System does the rest. For both we need a "FailedCraftingJobs-Terminal" to see what material for jobs missing. Like it? ;) (Sorry for bad English)

You can already request auto-crafting with export buses and interfaces, I'm at a loss of what the purpose of this request is.

Closing, just use precrafting in AE2 Algo added the possibility to read the content of interfaces, thus using its 8x64 items to precraft and store there. Additionally there will be no feature if its already possible within the game.
