Like the forge lexicon from omnitools, add a block that allows you to define oreDictionary automatic conversions, i.e. put a copper ingot in an item slot and it will show a list of all the different copper ingots, select one and any copper ingots in your system will be automatically converted, so you don't waste multiple types with what is effectively the same item. You could make it into a pattern system, creating Conversion patterns which would then be stored in a seperate block (that would be similar to how the old autocrafting worked, you might want to do something else for consistency). Any items added to the system would be automatically converted, with every conversion costing energy.

You could allow manual inputting of the oreDict key, but i think it would be more balanced if you required at least one of the item, to prevent people jut going through the entire ore dictionary and just clicking the first item when they first place the block and then never coming back to it

I honestly think these things cause more problems then they solve so i don't really think I want to add it.

Closing, Don't have any interest in doing this ( most of the other lexicons type things already enough issues with dealing with item duplication as it is. )

Ok, might see if i can make an add-on if i get the time. I have never come across a duplication bug, surely it as simple as replacing one ItemStack with another? And possibly copying across NBT

@Alpvax, thats because people specifically don't ore dictinoary things that should be, like Pure and Non-Pure quartz ( pure -> non pure = duping quartz ), not in the ore dictionary like it should be thanks to lexicons. This also breaks things like autocrafting and things like the crafting terminal.
