I would really like it if AE had a few cool mobs in it, or plants, as the seed growing is all it has at the moment, as it would liven up the world and make it that much cooler. I think adding a dimension might be a bit too much, as AE is clearly not that kind of a mod, but a few mobs, a plant and a biome would be amazing. For example i thought that maybe a fluix creeper would be awesome, when killed it drops fluix dust and has a cool effect when blown up such as firing small fluix crystal shards in all directions that damage you (animation, not items) and a biome with fluix grass and sky stone patches around would be cool. Maybe if you used a hos on the certus grass you have a very tiny percent chance for it to drop a fluix, certus or nether quartz seed, like vanilla grass and seeds but more rare. A generating cool looking dungeon with some AE mobs spawning as a threat and AE loot as a reward would be amazing and maybe there could be a plant that gives you quartz dust every once in a while would be really cool. Also there could maybe be a skywood tree that is used in crafting and is rare like the meteors. Thank you for taking on board these suggestions and i do not mind if you find them stupid or unlikely to happen i would just like to see some more aesthetic changes to the minecraft world when using AE ~StephanoTheSheep

I prefer AE as it is, without extra world gen, there are loads of mods that add more mobs and i find it starts to get a bit crowded. Thats not to say don't add rare generated items like the meteors, but i don't want a biome or plants just for the sake of it. If you add a process that requires you to be in said biome or effects a process (e.g. crystallization is faster in said biome) i wouldnt mind, but i like AE as a storage mod, not an aesthetic focused mod. I'm not against craftable mobs like pressurecrafts drones or thaumcrafts golems, but i dont see the need for randomly spawned mobs unless they provide the only source of a resource. Just my opinion, feel free to add them if you disagree

I agree with you, I don't like orespawn as it adds way too many mobs, i was talking about only a couple mobs, this adds more balance but isn't crowded, also the biome wouldn't be purely aesthetic, crystal growth speed and meteor rarity is increased in it as well as certus quartz ore (charged too) would be more common. The mobs would have useful drops and the plant would be very handy as an extra way to get your quartz although this is my least favourite of the suggestions. The biome would also have the hoe chance of quartz seeds so it would not be aesthetic, it would be functional and make the mod more wholesome

I have no intention of adding mobs, mobs usually mean combat, and I hate MC's Combat.

They could be peaceful mobs, and by the way the post wasn't all about mobs, if you read further you would see that I also suggested a biome and more.

Most of the other ideas about skywood and passive mobs just don't really fit with the theme of AE

What about the biome, would that be possible, the generation of meters already exists as does quartz growth so this isnt much different to the theme that is already in play?

It is fairly different, Fluix is not found in nature, ( its a special crystal made by a reaction ) Sky Stone is from meteorites, I have no idea what "fluix" grass would even be. This is just a bunch of random things that don't mesh with the concepts in the mod.
