What is happening? The energy usage on the Wireless AP seems to be on a strange scale. I'm not sure if I'm rolling a number on a variable somewhere or it's working as intended. With no mods installed: 16 rf/t 16: 80 rf/t 32: 378 rf/t 48: 1,770 rf/t 64: 8,210 rf/t I had installed a new WAP with 64 upgrades and it drained my storage of 175M RF in a shockingly fast time... just over 15 minutes and that was it. At 64 upgrades it eats 164,200 rf/second..... again, if it's working as you intended I am perfectly fine with that. I was just startled to see the amount and wasn't sure if it was a bug or not. the range and energy usage scales semi exponentially, allowing 64 boosters to reach 512 blocks, and yes, the power usage sounds about right, its one of those things where you should balance between more boosters or more WAPs

Gotcha. Wouldn't it always be more efficient to use more WAP's then?

512 blocks is also quite large. I thought it was 1:1 ratio of block to extender for some reason

yes, but sometimes range is worth being a little inefficient, but its up to you to make the call.
