Place some cable and any microblocks (eg. covers) at any sides of cable, then shift-click with wrench on cable - drops cable only and microblocks disappear.

Hmm, not sure I can do anything about this, since Immibis MIcroblocks has no API once I delete my part as far as AE2 knows, theres nothing else in the tile entity, so it removes it from the

world.

That might work, where did you find that? I looked on his thread, his download page, and his github and didn't find anything.
