Current behavior for Inscriber is that top slot item is input from top side of the block, silicon input from bottom, and some materials from sides to go middle slot. Sides are also suitable for pipes to pull ready products out.
Now then, it would be theoretically possible that any item can be input and output from any side of the Inscriber, and it would automatically know which slot to place them. This would make autocrafting with ME interface alot easier, if you would only need 1 ME interface on top of it, without any item pipes needed. Perhaps just 1 pipeline or import bus to pull ready items out, if it's not auto-ejecting to attached container such as the same ME interface.
As far as i know, not even oredictionary is needed with this, because all the items involved are specific ones. Redstone, gold ingots, pure certus quartz are all unique... maybe IC2 industrial diamonds is only one that can use oredict, but even that recipe propably makes real diamonds in current versions. |
