When trying to automate galacticraft I realized that it would be nice to have a card to increase compatibility with certain other mods.
A precision card would be put in a export bus (or possibly an interface) and it would put the items in a specific order in the inventory rather than just push it in. With this you would be able to input patterns of items and be able to automate a few machines that otherwise would need other mods or manual labor.
A sneaky card would enable you to input/output items from another side than the bus is actually attached to, again you would be able to automate a thing that otherwise would be hard to automate.
As always, balance needs to be taken into consideration, but I doubt that the above cards would cause such a problem. You still need to manually put recipes in the precision card and configure the sneaky card by hand.
Another idea popped up:
A supply card would work with an import/export bus, and would always leave a certain amount of items in the network/machine. So for example, the bus would export coal into a machine, but always leave 100 coal in the network. (I'm not so sure about this one, it could make things to easy. And in a way, it's already covered with me level emitters) |
